Training within VDL

VDL Groep is a family business where people have a central place. After all, our employees are the heart of the company. VDL finds it important to offer employees a workplace where they can work pleasantly in a safe and healthy environment and where they can develop further. We invest extensively in solid craftsmanship by giving employees the space to grow within the organization. The VDL group continues to grow, which is why we are constantly looking for people who want to develop both themselves and VDL. We are looking for motivated employees with an interest in technology. People who love to tackle and like to work together to achieve the best possible result.

In order to achieve this, we find it very important to work continuously with students and interns. This keeps us informed of the latest developments in education and ensures the inflow of well-trained professionals. This is necessary to cope not only with organic growth but also with the outflow of older employees. This is also one of the ways in which we demonstrate our commitment to society. Within VDL Groep, a coordinator of practical training has even been appointed who is working full-time to link the right students to the VDL companies. This practical training coordinator works closely with the various educational institutions.

Also within VDL Container Systems we often have trainees and students who, among other things, follow a BBL (Professional Guided Learning Route) course. A BBL training is working and learning where during the training 3 to 4 days a week is worked and 1 to 2 days a week to school.

VDL Container Systems has been appointed by the SBB as an approved training company to offer work placement and training places.
